You can now sleep easy with this Hozelock Water Timer. With easy dial and button programming, you can select when, for how long and how often you want to water your garden. So not only can you control how much water you use, but you can also time your watering to come on at night – to minimise loss through evaporation. There’s even no need to rely on the neighbours when you go away on holiday.
The Hozelock Water Timer is battery powered and fits directly onto your outside tap. Remember to follow the advice of your water company regarding the use of hosepipes connected to the mains during the summer. Please note that rechargeable batteries shouldn’t be used with this timer. Change batteries every season.
Use responsibly: water authorities may require that where a hose system runs from the mains, you should incorporate a non-return valve to prevent back-syphoning. This occurs when there is a sudden loss in water pressure – through a broken pipe or the water being turned off for maintenance – allowing dirty water to be sucked into the mains, contaminating the system.
