Description
Grows to 1m high by 1m wide. Dwarf Bottlebrush has deep red flowers and dark blue/green foliage. Flowers throughout spring and summer, but peak flowering occurs in spring.
Where to grow
Situate in full sun to realize outstanding flowering potential. Prefers well-drained soil, but will tolerate a wide range of soils.
Care
Pruning is recommended after flowering to remove spent flowers and encourage an attractive growth habit. Although not essential, Callistemon ‘Little John’ will respond well to a low phosphorus fertilizer in early spring or autumn.
