Description
Grows to 1.8 m high by 1m wide. Weeping Bottlebrush, a compact dense shrub deep red flowers and green foliage. Peak flowering occurs in spring into summer.
Where to grow
Situate in full sun to realize flowering potential. Prefers well-drained soil, but will tolerate a wide range of soils and situations.
Care
Pruning is recommended after flowering to remove spent flowers and encourage an attractive growth habit. Although not essential, Callistemon Rose Opal will respond well to a low phosphorus fertilizer in spring/autumn.
