Description
Grows to 0.8m high by 1m wide. Tasman Flax Lilly is a clump forming herb that produces striking bright blue flowers in spring and summer. Another striking feature of this plant is its metallic blue globular fruits and prominent golden antlers.

Where to grow

Very hardy in most conditions.

Uses

Excellent feature plant, ideal for rockeries and water features.

Care

Dianella Tasmanica is very drought tolerant but do water plentifully when young. Fertilizing with a slow release fertilizer in spring encourages healthier plants and removing the old brown leaves is the only maintenance that is required for this plant.
